Based on previously made experiences in their self-produced radioshow called 'Radioaktiv-Jungle', the three schoolmates Dahthai, Mischa and Mos Phat moved on to found the Dresden originated daWolfpackKru aka DWP in late '99.
The guys target was to promote drum&bass-events with Dresden's best artists. After promoting several nights in various venues, they changed their booking conceptions in 2001. UK acts like Stakka & Skynet, Klute or Kemal played at daWolfpack-nights at Industriehallen in Dresden. Alongside with many other promoters in town, they have contributed their part to develope Dresden's scene with its technoid sound.
Right now DWP is taking a timeout, but even now the kru is looking forward to get their new upcoming plans realized. Keep an eye on the site for announcements.
DWP-events stand for versatility. The philosophy is not just to present excellent artists, but also to have extraordinary decoration and visuals. Thereby every DWP-night should leave a formative impression on all drum&bass-enthusiasts.
